After spending some time in Ankara, it's time to continue towards southern Turkey, but not before I visit one of the most spectacular regions in Turkey, Cappadocia, with it's wonderful scenery. I took a short detour to also fly over the second largest lake in Turkey (Tuz Golu) before making a pass over Cappadocia.
After seeing the marvelous hills and valleys I turned right towards the south, crossing the Torus mountains for today's destination, the city of Adana. I landed at LTAG air base and was the single non military aircraft on the apron. Right on final a Turkish Airforce F16 fighter was awaiting departure.
Next stop, across the sea to Cyprus, but probably tomorrow.
